According to a new report, a lieutenant with the Lower Merion Police Department "over coached" a candidate on the department's entry test.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — A Lower Merion Police lieutenant has reportedly been suspended after helping a candidate on the department's entry examination.
According to Action News, the lieutenant "over coached" a potential new hire on the required entry test.
The outlet reports the three-day suspension was handed down to the lieutenant, who was on a panel to oversee candidate testing, gave the candidate answers earlier this year.

Action News reports the revelation came after other members of the panel noticed the candidate "aced" the test, which led them to believe answers were provided.
