LMSD Assistant Superintendent Leaving District
Assistant Superintendent Dr. Scott Eveslage will be heading to the Hatboro-Horsham School District to serve as its superintendent.

LOWER MERION, PA — Dr. Scott Eveslage, Lower Merion School District's Assistant Superintendent, is leaving.
According to the district, Eveslage has been chosen as Hatboro-Horsham School District superintendent.
Lower Merion School District Superintendent Robert Copeland announced Eveslage will be leaving the district to assume his new role.

"Our Assistant Superintendent Dr. Scott Eveslage has been selected as the finalist for the superintendent position in the Hatboro-Horsham School District," Copeland said. "Their School Board is expected to vote on Dr. Eveslage’s appointment next week."
Eveslage served as Welsh Valley Middle School principal and Harriton High School principal before taking on the assistant superintendent role in 2016.

As assistant superintendent, Eveslage led all aspects of the district’s curriculum and instruction, professional development, academic leadership and equity work.
"Lower Merion’s loss will be Hatboro-Horsham’s gain," Copeland said.
According to the district, search process for a new assistant superintendent will begin very soon.
"On behalf of everyone in the Lower Merion School District community, I would like to formally thank Dr. Eveslage for his dedication to our students and families," Copeland said. "I will certainly miss his thoughtful voice at our cabinet meetings and his leadership in our District. But I know he will serve his new District with the same level of excellence he has devoted to LMSD for the past decade. And I look forward to being able to collaborate with him as a fellow superintendent in the years to come."
