LMSD Board Candidate Forum Set For Thursday

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Eight candidates vying for reelection and hoping to unseat incumbents on the Lower Merion Board of School Directors will all share a stage later this week, as Welsh Valley Middle School will host a candidate forum ahead of the Nov. 7 general election.

The LMSD Board of Directors Candidate Forum will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 in the Welsh Valley Middle School auditorium.

These candidates are seeking election or reelection to four board seats.

The forum is a non-partisan community event sponsored by the Interschool Council, Committee for Special Education, Committee to Address Race in Education, and the League of Women Voters of Lower Merion/Narberth.

The forum will be moderated by the Lower Merion and Harriton High School Debate Team members.
