LMSD Hosting Gender/Sexuality Inclusivity Meeting Dec. 5
The meeting will allow parents and guardians to share concerns and perspectives around students' issues related to gender and sexuality.

ARDMORE, PA – The Lower Merion School District is hosting a public meeting on gender and sexuality inclusivity next month for LMSD parents and guardians.
The Gender/Sexuality Inclusivity and Belonging Committee (GSIB) is hosting the meeting at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 5 in Room 154 at the Lower Merion School District Administration Building, 301 E. Montgomery Ave., Ardmore.
Jeanna Stanley, Ph.D., will facilitate the meeting, which will focus on parents' and guardians' concerns and perspectives around students' issues related to gender identity.

Parents and guardians can share their thoughts on students' gender and sexuality issues.
Stanley is a licensed psychologist, national trainer, published author, consultant, adjunct graduate faculty member and former director of graduate counseling programs at the University of Pennsylvania, according to the district.

The GSIB committee functions as an advisory group within the district to support and address the unique needs of students who are exploring and facing gender identity challenges.
