LMSD Shifts Friday, Weekend Activities Due To Winter Forecast

The Amazing Ace competition will now be held late afternoon Sunday, and the Harriton-Radnor basketball game is being rescheduled.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — With significant winter weather in the weekend's forecast, the Lower Merion School District has shifted its weekend activity schedule.

Activities scheduled for after 6 p.m. Friday will be canceled or reschedules. All other high school activities will finish before 6 p.m.

The Amazing Ace competition has been rescheduled to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Harriton High School's swim and dive meet against Penncrest High School will go on as planned, but the Harriton I/O track meets at Lehigh and Glen Mills and all Bala Cynwyd Middle School and Welsh Valley Middle School after-school activities and athletics are canceled.

Saturday's Harriton-Radnor basketball game is being rescheduled.

As for Sunday, all events will go on as planned, except the Harriton girls track meet in Staten Island, which is canceled.
