LMSD Transgender, Gender Diverse Student Support Talk Feb 23

Psychologist Dr. Jeanne Stanley is leading a discussion on how the district supports its transgender and gender diverse students Feb. 23.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Merion School District is inviting parents and guardians in the community to join a discussion on how transgender and gender diverse students are supported.

From 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23, psychologist Dr. Jeanne Stanley will lead a presentation on the foundations of gender identity and address the key ways in which the District supports Transgender & Gender Diverse (TGD) students.

Stanely will also discuss how parents/guardians can actively support and affirm TGD students throughout the District.
