Local Adoption Agency To Bring Massive Mural to the Main Line

A new mural will be gracing Adoptions From The Heart (AFTH), Wynnewood location.

A new mural will be gracing Adoptions From The Heart (AFTH), Wynnewood location. GoodSpace Murals a Minneapolis-based mural and arts consulting studio run by Greta McLain and Candida Gonzalez will be installing the mural the week of April 16, 2018. The new project will celebrate the agency’s work of weaving families together and the symbolic “red thread” that connects us all.

The mural will occupy an entire side of the agency’s building that faces Wynnewood Road and the Whole Foods parking lot, and part of the front of the building which faces Lancaster Ave. Lead artist of GoodSpace Murals, Greta McLain, has ties to the Delaware Valley, and previously worked with Mural Arts Philadelphia to create some of the city’s most remarkable pieces. Candida Gonzalez has ties to Adoptions From the Heart through her sister Heidi Gonzalez, Associate Director of the agency.

The agency is looking forward to enriching the Main Line with murals and notable public art, like the illustrious murals that decorate thousands of walls throughout Philadelphia.
