Local Adoption Agency Hosting Child Care Class

On Wednesday, November 11th at 6:30 pm, the Wynnewood AFTH office will be hosting a educational course on child care for prospective adoption parents at their office. This infant care class, specifically for adoptive parents, will cover the basics of infant and child care, including newborn appearance, newborn behaviors, diapering and dressing, umbilical cord care, newborn health and safety basics, and when to call your pediatrician. This class is exclusively for perspective adoptive parents and allows them to learn in a non-medical environment without a focus on pregnancy and childbirth. There will be plenty of time for questions at the end of class!
