Local Ardmore Area Actress Performs in "Aladdin Jr."
Rachel Gopalani of Marion Station plays Omar in the Walnut Street Theatre's production of Aladdin Jr.

Shining, shimmering, splendid! A young actor from Bluebell plays Aladdin’s trusty friend, Omar, in the Walnut Street Theatre’s production of Disney’s ALADDIN JR, beginning September 22nd through September 30th.
Based on the timeless animated film and hit Broadway show, Disney’s ALADDIN JR. is filled with magic and thrills the whole family will enjoy. When street urchin Aladdin falls for the strong-willed Princess Jasmine, he gets help from a fun-loving Genie to outsmart the wicked Jafar and win her hand. Get on your flying carpet and join us on a soaring musical adventure!
Rachel Gopalani of Merion Station is an 8th grader at The Baldwin School where she partakes in the Technology Student Association. She earned her musical skills through studies with vocal coach Lisa Wilson. Additionally, Gopalani had performed in The Baldwin School’s productions of Seussical, Honk Jr, and Mulan Jr. These opportunities helped her land an amazing experience where she sang for Patti LaBelle after running into her while shopping.
