Lower Merion Area Health Inspections: Tiffin, Ms Marty's, More

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – The Montgomery County Health Department inspected 55 Lower Merion Township-area establishments in January and found most to be in violation of at least one health code.

Ms. Marty's Deli in the Bryn Mawr section of the township had the most violations with 19 total in their Jan. 26 inspection.

Those violations included fruit fly-like insects found in the facility; a food handle lacking hair restraints; open meat and cheese packages missing dates; raw eggs stored over ready-to-eat food items; various dust, rust, ice, and juice build ups; inadequate storage temperatures for various sauces; and more.
