Lower Merion Businessman Honored By United Negro College Fund
The United Negro College Fund has recognized the Lower Merion man for providing educational opportunities to African-American youth.
BRYN MAWR, PA – Aqua America Chairman Nicholas DeBenedictis was recently honored by the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) for his support of the UNCF mission in providing educational opportunities for African American youth.
The gala, held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, had record-breaking attendance and raised in excess of $500,000, which also broke previous fund-raising efforts, the organization said.
The United Negro College Fund is an educational assistance organization with 40 private, historically black, membercolleges and universities.
