Lower Merion Collecting Items For Preston & Steve Hunger Campout

Lower Merion Township is looking to support Preston & Steve's Camp Out for Hunger by collecting non-perishable food items through Dec. 2.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Lower Merion Township agencies are looking to support an annual hunger-fighting effort by WMMR's Preston & Steve.

The Preston & Steve Show is holding its annual Camp Out for Hunger from Dec. 2 through Dec. 6.

And Lower Merion Police are asking for your help in supporting the effort.

You can make a drop off at the Lower Merion Police Department lobby, Lower Merion Township lobby, Lower Merion Fire Marshall's Office, all Lower Merion firehouses, and Narberth Ambulance.

  • Penn Wynne/Overbrook Hills Fire Company — 1440 Manoa Road, Wynnewood
  • Belmont Hills Fire Company — 4 S. Washington Ave., Belmont Hills

Drop offs can be made through Dec. 2.

All non-perishable food items will be donated to Philabundance, which fights to drive hunger from the community.

The Camp Out for Hunger is being held from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2 through Thursday, Dec. 5 and from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 at Parking Lot G in the Wells Fargo Center Complex.

Donations will also be accepted at the parking lot.
