Lower Merion Coronavirus Cases Top 1,000
More than 1,000 people in Lower Merion Township have or have had the coronavirus to date. See the latest data from Montgomery County here.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — More than 1,000 people in Lower Merion Township have or have had the coronavirus, according to data provided Friday.
As of Friday, the number of cases in Lower Merion Township is 1,024.
For the week ending Oct. 22, the township had a 73.21 per 100,000 person incidence rate.

Additionally, the 14-day positivity rate was 1.95 percent.

The average age of a Lower Merion resident infected with the virus is 49.4.
Four hundred seventy-three men have been infected by the virus and 549 women have been infected. The gender for two cases have not been identified.
No new deaths been reported since Oct. 20, keeping the township's coronavirus death toll at 85.
Of those deaths, one person was in their 40s, one person was in their 50s, four were in their 60s, 10 were in their 70s, 41 were in their 80s, and 28 were 90 and above. Additionally, 49 women and 35 men have died in Lower Merion.
Montgomery County since March 7 has had 13,787 and 838 deaths.
