LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Despite new cases of the coronavirus being identified in Lower Merion Township daily, deaths in the township are not increasing.
According to the most recent data on the coronavirus's impact in Lower Merion Township, nearly two dozen additional cases have been reported over the last week.
Montgomery County's coronavirus dashboard shows since Friday, Aug. 21, 23 new cases gave been found in the township.

That brings the total case count to date to 785.

The coronavirus's death toll in Lower Merion remains unchanged since July 8, with 84 total deaths.
Of those deaths, one person was in their 40s, one person was in their 50s, four were in their 60s, 10 were in their 70s, 40 were in their 80s, and 28 were 90 and above. Additionally, 49 women and 35 men have died in Lower Merion.
