Lower Merion Schools Starting Year Digitally
The school board voted 8 to 1 Wednesday night to open schools using an all-digital learning model at least through early October.
LOWER MERION, PA — Students in the Lower Merion School District will be learning digitally for the first month of the 2020-2021 school year.
The Lower Merion Board of School Directors Wednesday night voted 8 to 1 to open schools with an all digital model through at least Oct. 5.
Students will start school on Sept. 8 in the newly approved Health and Safety Plan for reopening for the 2020-2021 school year.

After Oct. 5, the district will consider in person learning depending on the public health situation at that time, according to the district.
