Lower Merion High School Class Of 1979 Sets Up $12K Scholarship

ARDMORE, PA — At their 40th class reunion in November, the Lower Merion High School Class of 1979 ensured future grads would receive financial help in furthering their educations.

The Class of '79 at their reunion donated more than $12,000 to establish the LMHS Class of 1979 Scholarship for the Lower Merion Township Scholarship Fund.

The Scholarship Fund is a community effort to provide need-based scholarships to assist graduates of Lower Merion School District's public high schools to pursue higher education.

It is a 501(c)(3) organization that draws support from the schools, alumni, school families, community businesses, and neighbors.
