Lower Merion High School Ranked Among PA's Top 10 Public High Schools

Lower Merion High School has been listed as the fifth best public high school in Pennsylvania by Niche.com.

The high school found itself at No. 5 on the 2017 Best Public High School In Pennsylvania and was also ranked the best high school for athletes in Pennsylvania.

Evaluators such as Niche examine public high school students' performances on state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and high school ratings.

Pennsylvania has some of the top public schools in the nation — and many more are considered among the best in the state, according Niche's recently released 2017 Best Public High Schools in America.

The rankings are "based on rigorous analysis of data from the U.S. Department of Education along with test scores, college data, and ratings collected from millions of Niche users," according to Niche. (Still skeptical? You can pick apart the site's full methodology here.)
