Lower Merion Hockey Advances In State Playoffs After Wednesday's Win

Tonight the Aces will compete for a berth in state finals. Good luck Aces!

Lower Merion Hockey won its Wednesday game against Kennett 6-3 at the Flyers Cup in Havertown.

That means the Aces will be heading to sate semi final competition Thursday night.

The team will head to Ice Line in West Chester tonight where at 6:45 p.m. they will vie for a berth in the playoff finals on rink 3.

If the Aces win the state title, it will be the first time ever that the trophy case will feature a hockey trophy.

This is a big deal for the team, as last season they finished with a 2-15 record.

Coach Dan Pike has been working to get a fan bus to take students to Thursday's game in support of the hockey team.
