Lower Merion Hosting Clean Up Days This Weekend

You can get rid of household appliances, textiles, plastic, glass, and more free of charge at the Lower Merion Public Works Complex.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Lower Merion Township residents can dispose of various items free of charge at a second clean up weekend.

Form 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 at the Lower Merion Public Works Complex.

Residents, with proof of residency, can dispose of household appliances, textiles, plastic, glass, newsprint, and trash during those days.

Hazardous waste will not be accepted at the event.

Harmonious Volunteer Center will be collecting furniture, toys, clothing, and Neighborhood Bike Works will be collecting bicycles brought to the event.

Township crews will help residents unload.

Recyclable materials — such as mixed paper, textiles and commingled items — must be separated from other household trash.

The public works complex is located at 1300 N. Woodbine Ave. in Penn Valley.
