Lower Merion HS Embodies The Holiday Spirit Though Food Drive And Scholarship Donations
Students collected monetary and food donations to give back to their community.
Lower Merion High School students really lived up to the giving nature of the holiday season with Winterfest this year.
The community service event supported the Saints Memorial Baptist Church Food Pantry and the Bridget Hull Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Lower Merion School District said.
The high school collected more than 4,500 lbs of food for the pantry and donated $1,430 to the scholarship fund, according to the district.
