Lower Merion Incumbents Handily Win Re-Election

Republican Ryan A. Costello won the 6th Congressional District seat.

Though sitting Gov. Tom Corbett lost to Tom Wolf at the state level, with 97 percent of precincts reporting in Montgomery County, the night belonged to Lower Merion’s incumbents.

State Rep. Mary Jo Daley (D-148th) beat Republican Ed Flocco, 63.44 to 36.56 percent.

Rep. Timothy P. Briggs (D-149th) ran unopposed.

State. Rep. Pamela A. DeLissio (D-194th) beat Republican William F. Pounds, 71.79 to 28.21 percent

In the race for the 6th Congressional District seat being vacated by Republican Rep. Jim Gerlach, Republican Ryan A. Costello beat Democrat Manan Trivedi, 54.77 to 45.23 percent.
