Lower Merion Little League Heading To State Competition
The team advanced after dealing crushing defeats to Lower Gwynedd's team in sectional play on July 3. Congratulations and good luck, boys!

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – The Lower Merion Little League Intermediate Division is heading to state competition soon, as the team of baseball stars advanced in district and sectional play recently to earn a state bid.
The team will head to Kennett Square next week to begin their state tournament play.
States kick off on Sunday, July 8 with a dinner for the teams and a coaches meeting and the first games will be played Monday, July 9.

Lower Merion Little League advanced to sectional play after defeating Upper Providence on June 28 11 to 1.
Then in sectional play, the team trounced Lower Gwynedd 11 to 1 and 14 to 2 on July 3.

The team was formed as a sort of "all-star" team from Lower Merion Little League Intermediate Division and consists of Alex Johnson, Andrew McCann, Brayden Bowman, Caleb Barnett, Jaden Skop, Josh Greenberg, Justin Spiegler, Leo Stein, Palmer Zarzycki, Ross Brotherston Jr., Ryan Conrad, Toby Myers, and Van Willner. Most of the players are in sixth grade with a few in fifth grade.
The team is coached by Kevin Conrad. Assistant Coaches are Chris Barnett, Ross Brotherston Sr., and Matt Spiegler.
Lower Merion Little League President is Wally Orlov and Intermediate Division Commissioner is Chris McCann.
The state tournament games will be played at Sinton Field, 100 Leslie Road in Kennett Square.
