Lower Merion, Narberth Honoring 1 Year Of Coronavirus Friday
Communities members are invited to place a light or candle in their windows Friday to mark the one-year anniversary of the pandemic.
LOWER MERION-NARBERTH, PA — Members of the Lower Merion and Narberth communities are invited to mark the one-year anniversary of the coronavirus forcing students out of schools.
The Lower Merion Home and School Associations is asking residents to commemorate the somber anniversary this Friday.
All students, families, staff, and everyone in Lower Merion and Narberth, are invited put a light or candle in a window on Friday and keeping it in the window through the weekend.

The Lower Merion Home and School Associations said the lights and candles are "to share in the spirit of hope for a brighter future."
"We have been forced to alter our lives to redefine safety, and to reimagine what a high school year looks like in academics, connectedness, sports and activities, and college planning," the Lower Merion Home and School Associations said. "Many have lost friends and family members during this pandemic and our deepest condolences go out to you."
