Lower Merion Opens Community Development Block Grant Applications

The grants are being made available through the CARES Act for residents and businesses in Lower Merion that are impacted by the coronavirus.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Applications are now being accepted for Community Development Block Grants in Lower Merion Township for those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Funds are being provided by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act to residents and businesses impacted by the virus.

Those available for grant funding are households with low and moderate income, as well as small businesses that employ members of low and moderate income households and those who have come upon financial hardship due to temporary or permanent job loss from the virus.

Applications for the funding are due by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 22.
