Lower Merion Police and Fire Department Quickly Respond To Fire

Lower Merion Police and Fire Department Are Quick To Respond To A Dumpster Fire May 19

Lower Merion Police and Firemen arrived to a dumpster fire raising concerns over how or who could've started it. Given the circumstances and location of the situation it most likely was foul play. While the Fire Department had no problem extinguishing the flames it raises further concerns as to who and why someone would set the fire. This consequently put the surrounding apartment complexes, tenants, and their children in danger.

I speculate that the Lower Merion police would be satisfied with it being kids up to no good, as opposed to the alternative. Regardless of those who and why, please take the time to review and remind your children about the serious nature and danger of fire when it comes to your children. If it is not the actions of adolescents, then for the sake of safety, continue the discussion about safety with your children in regards to what is dangerous, especially when it comes to fire safety.

Please take the time to remind your kids that even if an adult is present, that if they are unrecognized not to approach them and discuss with them what could be considered suspicious activity or behavior.

Unfamiliar faces on your private property, along with, any sort of seemingly dangerous activity from an adult or child should be cause enough for your child to immediately seek out and inform a familiar adult. Having an adult investigate the situation is not only important for preventing and protecting people from crime in the Main Line but also ensures the safety of a neighborhood ,heavily populated, with children.
