Lower Merion Police Hosting Thanksgiving Food Drive
Items needed for donation include canned vegetables, boxed or bagged stuffing mix, and Giant gift cards to help families in need.
ARDMORE, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township are looking to help feed families in the upcoming holiday season by hosting a Thanksgiving food drive.
Now through Saturday, Oct. 31, residents can drop off all kinds of foods at the Lower Merion Police Department in Ardmore to help support Montgomery County Children & Youth Services in its mission to provide Thanksgiving dinners for families in financial hardship.
Items can be dropped off at the police department's front entrance or in the lobby 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

In addition to food items, Giant Gift cards from $10 to $15 are needed to be used by the families to purchase a turkey.
