This Memorial Day we remember Army Master Sgt. Scott R. Ball, PA State Trooper and former Lower Merion Police Officer, who died Aug. 27 2007 at Forward Operating Base Naray, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit during combat operations in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. The section of Lancaster Ave. between Church Road & Rittenhouse Place was dedicated to Scott and renamed Master Sergeant Scott Rowen Ball Memorial Avenue. Thank you to all who serve, including many of our own LM Officers.
Thank you for your service and sacrifice, Master Sgt. Ball.
