Lower Merion Ranked Among Nation's Best School Districts

According to Niche.com, the Lower Merion School District is in the top 25 best districts in the nation and top five in Pennsylvania.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Merion School District has been ranked among the best districts in the state and nation.

Data analysis company Niche recently released its list of the best school districts in the nation and states.

Lower Merion came in at No. 4 in Pennsylvania and No. 24 nationally in Niche's ranking.

The district earned "A+" grades from Niche in academics, teachers, clubs and activities, college prep, and health and safety.

A "B-" grade was given to the district's diversity.

Harriton and Lower Merion high schools were ranked No. 5 and No. 6 among the state's best high schools, too.

Harriton earned A+ in all categories, save for diversity which earned it a B. Lower Merion earned a B+ in diversity, A in teachers, and A+ in all others.
