Lower Merion School Board To Host First In-Person Meeting Monday

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — In-person meetings are coming back to the Lower Merion School District.
The district Thursday announced a return to in-person Lower Merion Board of School Directors meetings next week.
Monday will mark the transition back to in-person meetings with the regular board meeting at 8 p.m. in the Lower Merion High School Auditorium.

Only 100 residents are able to attend the meeting in person. The meeting will still be available on livestream via Zoom.
Those who attend must wear masks throughout the meeting.

Seating in the auditorium seating is marked for student use and meeting attendees must not remove any of the markings or sit in areas that are marked off.
Those who wish to give public comment must sign in. Comments will be taken at a single podium and participants must wear a mask and follow the directional arrows for added safety, the district said.
Public comment will be available to those watching via Zoom chat.
"As we transition back, please keep in mind this is a 'trial' meeting," the district said in its announcement. "The format may need to evolve and/or look a little different moving forward."
Below is a list of the upcoming in-person board meetings through the summer:
- April 19 — Regular Business Board Meeting
- May 10 — Education Committee & Supplementary Regular Board Meeting
- May 17 — Regular Business Board Meeting
- June 14 — Regular Business Board Meeting
- July 19 — Regular Business Board Meeting
- August 16 — Regular Business Board Meeting
