Lower Merion School Board to Host First Public Meeting Since Court Decision

LOWER MERION, PA -- The Lower Merino School Board will hold a public meeting on Monday, September 12 at 8 p.m.

It is the first board meeting open to the public since the a court ordered the school district to revoke its planned 4.4 percent tax increase for the 2016-2017 school year.

Sources familiar with the lawsuit said that "larger than usual" attendance is likely at the meeting, give the controversial nature of the recent court case. The Board is likely to address the recent court decision as well, which they have appealed.

The meeting will take place in the Administration Building's Board Room on 301 E. Montgomery Road in Ardmore.
