The school district is hoping to have a community conversation centered around the question of identifying gifted children.

ARDMORE, PA -- The Lower Merion school district is hoping to have a community conversation centered around answering the question: how to identify gifted children?

The school district cited markers such as "intense academic interest," a need for more school challenges, a "great memory," and the ability to learn with "little practice."

They said they hope the conversation will help parents and teachers to identify more characteristics of "giftedness."
