Lower Merion Schools Giving Coronavirus Shots Friday, Next Week

First and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be given at Lower Merion High School this Friday and next Friday.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Coronavirus vaccines are being offered at Lower Merion High School this Friday and next Friday, June 11.

The clinics will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., respectively, in the Lower Merion High School cafeteria.

District Health Services Staff and other volunteer licensed healthcare professionals from the community will be administering the Pfizer vaccine.

Friday's clinic is for those who got their first dose May 14 and the June 11 clinic is for those who got their first dose May 21.

Those who got their first shots via walk-in can walk-in for their second doses between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the appropriate date.

Be sure to bring the vaccination card that was given when after the first dose.

First dose shots will also be administered from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday and June 11. However, those people can get their second doses at Eric's RX in Horsham or can contact a health care provider or pharmacy.

Participants will be required to stay in the designated area of the high school for 15 minutes following administration of the vaccine for observation.

Everyone will be required to wear face masks that fully cover the mouth and nose at all times while on school property.

If your child has a disability that requires accommodations at the vaccine clinic, contact Terry Quinlan at 610 645-1829. A quiet room is available for vaccination of students who are sensory sensitive and/or students who have special needs.
