Lower Merion Schools Launch COVID Healthline For Families, Staff
Coronavirus cases are outpacing the Public Health Office's ability to confirm cases and conduct contact-tracing in a timely manner.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — In an effort to supplement Montgomery County's work to confirm coronavirus cases and contact trace cases, the Lower Merion School District has opened its own healthline.
Lower Merion School District’s Student Health Services Department will be operating the healthline, which was set up due to the county's cases outpacing the Office of Public Health’s ability to confirm cases and conduct contact-tracing in a timely manner, the district said.
Through the healthline, district nurses will triage messages left at the Healthline number and respond.
