Lower Merion SD Kindergarten, First Grade Registration Opens Soon

Lower Merion School District parents and guardians with new students about to attend the district's elementary schools should get ready for 2017-2018 school year registration, as it opens next month.

The district said registration begins in February with Cynwyd and Merion elementary schools.

From Feb. 6 to Feb. 22, students can register to attend Cynwyd and Merion elementary schools.

From Feb. 23 to March 10 students can register to attend Penn Valley and Penn Wynne elementary schools.

And From March 13 to March 32 students can register to attend Belmont Hills and Gladwyne elementary schools.

Registration for grades 2-12 for the 2017-2018 school year begins in April.

To register for school, a new student must be:

• A resident of Lower Merion School District (Proof of residency is required)
• 5 years old on or before September 1, 2017 for Kindergarten
• 6 years old on or before September 1, 2017 for 1st Grade

The first step is completing the online application. The second step is scheduling an appointment with our office to submit the required documents.

All registrations for Kindergarten through 12th Grade take place at the LMSD Central Registration office located at 301 E. Montgomery Ave., Ardmore and are done by appointment only.
