Lower Merion Sees 11 Coronavirus Cases, 2 Deaths Over Weekend
The township now has 377 cases, up from 366 reported on Friday, as well as two additional deaths since Friday.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Nearly a dozen new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Lower Merion Township over the weekend, as well as two more deaths.
According to Montgomery County, 11 new cases of the virus have been identified in Lower Merion since Friday.
The township now has 377 cases, up from 366 reported on Friday.

Men account for 182 cases and women account for 194; the gender is unknown for one case in the township.
The average age of Lower Merion residents infected with the virus is 60.

Lower Merion has the highest number of cases in the county to date. Montco overall has 4,570 cases.
Nearby, Narberth has just 15 cases and no deaths.
The township saw two more deaths over the weekend, bringing the total to 18.
Of the 18 deaths, one person was in their 40s, four were in their 60s, 10 were in their 80s, and three were in their 90s.
Ten deaths were men while eight were women.
The average age of coronavirus victims in Lower Merion is 80.
Montgomery County has a total of 314 deaths to date. Springfield has seen the highest death count with 54.
