Lower Merion Sees 4th Coronavirus-Related Death

Another Lower Merion Township resident has died due to the coronavirus as Montgomery County nears 50 deaths.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — A fourth person in Lower Merion Township has died from the new coronavirus, according to new data from Montgomery County.

Data provided Thursday shows another person died from the virus in Lower Merion as the county reaches nearly 50 cases.

The victim was in their 80s, according to county data.

The township has the most cases in Montgomery County with 176 of the county's 1,502 cases.

To date, 62-year-old woman, an 84-year-old man, and an 87-year-old woman have died in the township.
