Lower Merion Township Building Closing For 1 Week

The building was already closed to the public, but on Friday officials said the building will close outright. Essential services will go on.

LOWER MERION, PA — After initially closing just to the public, Lower Merion Township said the township building will be closed fully, with no public access, for a week.

Friday, officials said the township building will be closed through March 27, effective immediately.

Police, fire, and refuse collection services will still be in operation.

Residents who need to conduct business with the township should do so via email during this time.

Members of the community are urged to call 911 or Lower Merion Police at 610-649-1000 to report unsafe conditions or emergencies that requires services from the township.

The township's parks and trails are not closed, but residents should practice social distancing and hand sanitation and not allow anyone, especially children, to congregate in large groups.
