Lower Merion's 'Amazing Ace' Competition Set For Jan 28

ARDMORE, PA — Eight Lower Merion High School seniors will compete in the school's annual competition to be crowned the "Amazing Ace."
Lower Merion High School's 12 annual "Amazing Ace" competition will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28 in the Lower Merion High School Auditorium.
Seniors Zev Charlson, Phillip Gao, Liam Gordon, Connor Marsh, Emi Reed, Spencer Rosenbaum, Jack Shapiro and Leo Solga will vie the title.

This year's event tasks the contestants with finding Ace the Bulldog, who is lost in a video game.
Contestants represent drivers from the Mario Kart video game series and will participate in a catwalk, a hip-hop dance, a question and answer session, a talent, and a partner dance.

Lower Merion's a cappella group Ace Harmony, the LM Dance Team, and the LM Drill Team will be performing, as well.
Seniors Logan Hall and Rachel Zhang will host the contest.
For 2022, the eight contestants are representing a charity of their choice and the event overall will benefit late Lower Merion High School Principal Sean Hughes Children's Trust.

Tickets cost $10 for students and $20 for adults and are available online here. Due to reduced capacity for the event, tickets are limited.
If the event is not sold out, tickets will be available the night of the show.
