Map Shows Delaware County's Best Holiday Light Displays
Suzi King is rounding up the most stunning holiday light displays in Delaware County in a convenient map so you can check them out.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — The holidays in 2020 are a bit different given the coronavirus pandemic, but one Delaware County woman is compiling a resource to bring residents holiday cheer.
Suzi King has been working to curate a list of the best holiday light displays around the county.
The list appears in a convenient Google Map, which you can peruse below to plan visits to the county's most stunning displays.

King, a real estate agent, in 2019 first started creating a list of the county's best holiday light displays.
"I was on a date and we decided to try and find the best lights around and while at Rose Tree Park we came across a group of people who rented a bus and were doing the same thing and we shared notes," she told Patch. "I decided that this would be something great to put out to my clients, friends, and family so last year I made a list of the best displays and sent it out to everyone as well with posting it on Facebook and it was a big hit."

She initially planned to rent busses as a thank you to her clients and anyone who has referred business to her, but the coronavirus put an end to that idea.
"So instead I created the map for everyone to enjoy," she said. "I am so, so happy to see that so many families are piling into their cars and enjoying the lights."

But not every display will be included, as King said she wants to make sure the list features only the very best displays in the county.
"I'd love to keep adding to the list but am also trying to keep it to the very best displays that make you want to park your car and get out to view everything," she said.
Displays featured on the map as of now are in Broomall, Media, West Chester, Springfield, and Swarthmore.
