Math Program Changing At Lower Merion School District
To help district families understand the changes to secondary math program, the district is hosting three informational sessions in January.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Changes are coming to the Lower Merion School District's secondary mathematics program and the district is hosting three informational sessions to help district families understand the changes.
The new program includes additional course offerings and acceleration points at the middle level and a shift to integrated mathematics rather than the traditional Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2 courses across the four secondary buildings.
According to the district, the changes will allow the district to provide a more connected and personalized math experience for all students.
