Monday Trash, Recycling Collections Canceled In Lower Merion

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Monday's trash and recycling collections in Lower Merion Township had been canceled.

Residents who typically have Monday collections should hold their materials for March 2.

Officials said can limits will be relaxed next week.

Additionally, alleyway and rear-yard pickups are suspended for the rest of this week and until the pathways are free of snow and ice.

Refuse and recycling pick up will resume on Tuesday, officials said.

Residents are asked to bring their cans curbside for backyard and alleyway collection unless pathways are completely free of snow and ice.
