Montgomery County Commissioners Plan 'Conversation' in Lower Merion

The meeting is part of a county-wide effort by the commissioners to speak directly to residents.

Lower Merion residents will be given an opportunity to bring their concerns about any issues directly to the Montgomery County Commissioners next week at the Ludington Library.

The meeting on March 30 at 7 p.m. is one of six stops for the commissioners’ 3rd annual “Conversations with your Commissioners” tour. The first two years of “Conversations” were successful enough to encourage the commissioners to continue the series.

“The first two conversations proved to us how large and diverse our wonderful county is,” said Josh Shapiro, chair of the commissioners, in a statement. “There was a wide range of issues raised depending on the part of the county we were visiting, and gave the commissioners a real sense of what issues were on people’s minds.”
