More Lower Merion Weekend Home Break-Ins Reported

In addition to a Wynnewood home that was burgled over the weekend, police are reporting two more township homes were hit by burglars.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Lore Lower Merion Township Police are reporting more home burglaries after alerting the public to a home break-in that occurred over the weekend.

Police said a home in Wynnewood and a home in Ardmore were broke into this weekend, in addition to another Wynnewood home that was burglarized on Saturday.

Police said a home on the 700 block of Greythorne Road in Wynnewood was burglarized Saturday, July 28.

Sometime between 2 p.m. and 10:50 p.m. the burglars got inside the home through a first-floor window.

After getting inside, the burglars stole jewelry and a purse.

Then on at about 12:53 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, police were called to the 100 block of Glenn Road in Ardmore for a residential burglar alarm activation, police said.

Responding officers found an open window at the home.

Police said jewelry was stolen in the incident and about an hour before the break-in a black man in shorts, an orange safety vest, and work boots was seen on the property.
