National Night Out To Be Held Aug. 4 In Ardmore

The evening will feature carnival rides, games, live music, a giant slide, moon bounce, clowns, food and more.

Lower Merion Community Watch, in collaboration with the National Association of Town Watch and the Lower Merion Police Department, will host the annual National Night Out Festival on August 4.

The event will be held from 6 – 9pm at the West Parking Lot (across from Ruby’s) in Suburban Square.

The evening will feature carnival rides, games, child fingerprinting and video, live music, a giant slide, moon bounce, clowns, food and more.

The first National Night Out was introduced in 1984 with 400 communities in 23 states and 2.3 Americans participating.

The 2014 National Night Out involved 36 million people in 16,500 communities from all 50 states.
