New Filet Mignon Sandwich Shop Opens On Main Line

The Main Line's food scene continues to expand, as a new fast casual spot serving custom filet mignon sandwiches is now open.

The food scene on the Main Line continues to expand as a new fast casual spot serving up filet mignon sandwiches opened its doors for business Friday.

Nick Filet is dishing up sandwiches at 111 E. Lancaster Ave. in Paoli, the former Devon Bagel and Donut Company location.

The main dish is a roughly 6-ounce filet mignon steak on a toasted bun. Available add-ons include American cheese, bacon, horseradish sauce, and sauteed onions.

You can also get macaroni and cheese with filet in it, filet salad, a filet grilled cheese, and parmesan truffle fries, among other menu items.

Philly Magazine reports owner Nick Kline, just 24 years old, described the new venture as "Five Guys but with filet mignon."

Early reviews rave about the sandwiches, with reviews calling the cuts "perfectly cooked" and that the flavors are "on point."

Nick Filet is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m daily.
