New Mediterranean Eatery Coming To Ardmore in 2019

ARDMORE, PA – Ardmore's Suburban Square will be getting a new dining spot in summer 2019, as a new Mediterranean fast casual restaurant will open its door to the Main Line.

CAVA, a DC-based Mediterranean chain, will open summer 2019 in Suburban Square at 40 Coulter Ave.

CAVA serves up salads, grain bowl, pita sandwiches, dips and spreads, soups, and more.

Diners can customize menu items, such as CAVA's signature Crazy Feta, Spicy Lamb Meatballs, and Cauliflower Quinoa Tabbouleh as well as creative rotating seasonal offerings of juices, soups, and roasted vegetables.

The Ardmore location will be 2,400 square feet and seat up to 58 people.

It will be open daily from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The day before doors officially open, CAVA will invite the neighborhood to come in for community lunch - a tradition that started with the very first restaurant opening back in 2011, but is rooted in the heritage of the founders.

"Sharing a meal was part of our culture and how we welcomed our new neighbors growing up," said Co-Founder Ted Xenohristos.

The community will be able to join CAVA for free lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and free dinner from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. prior to opening day.

Xenohristos and his co-founders Ike Grigoropoulos, and Executive Chef Dimitri Moshovitis started CAVA in an effort to bring modern, authentic, and vibrant mind-blowing Mediterranean meals to a wider audience, using ingredients made from scratch in-house every day.

And the new location needs workers.

New hires begin with a starting wage of $13.50 per hour and receive a full benefit package that includes paid sick, parental, and vacation time for part-time and full-time team members; health benefits; 401K retirement plans; paid community service days; two hours of paid leave to vote on Election Day, and of course, free CAVA.
