Nighttime, Daytime Closures On 2 Lower Merion Roads Next Week

PennDOT said milling, paving, and manhole repairs will affect two Lower Merion Township roads during the day and overnight next week.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Daytime and nighttime lane restrictions are scheduled on two Lower Merion Township roads as part of a project to repair and resurface 50 miles of state highway in Montgomery County, PennDOT said.

The work schedule is:

  • Sunday, March 31, through Tuesday, April 2, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., lane restrictions are scheduled on Wynnewood Road between Lancaster Avenue and City Avenue for milling operations;
  • Monday, April 1, through Friday, April 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane restrictions are scheduled on Hollow Road between Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) and River Road for paving operations;
  • Wednesday, April 3, through Friday, April 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane restrictions are scheduled on Wynnewood Road between Lancaster Avenue and City Avenue for manhole adjustments.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
