No Damage To Lower Merion Schools After 4.8 Magnitude Earthquake
The Lower Merion School District said Friday's will operate on its regular schedule, as its buildings suffered no damage in the earthquake.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Merion School District said Friday's schedule will continue as usual after a 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit the region.
According to the district, no schools reported any damage or issues after the earthquake, which began about 10:30 a.m. and lasted for approximately 30 seconds, according to reports.
The quake's epicenter was about four miles north-northeast of Whitehouse Station (Readington) in New Jersey, according to the United States Geological Survey.
