Destination Ardmore is accepting nominations for the Ardmore Awards until midnight Friday, Feb. 15, so get your nominations in to recognize those who deserve it.
Three categories are open:
The Charles F. Ward Service to Ardmore Award

This award is given to the person whose efforts and good works have impacted the Ardmore community in meaningful and significant ways. The award is intended to honor someone whose attributes emulate those of Charlie Ward, past President of Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners and Founding Chairman of the Ardmore Business District Authority, the Ardmore Initiative, in whose name this award is made.
The Community Bright Spot Award
Find out what's happening in Ardmore-Merion-Wynnewoodfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
This award recognizes an Ardmore business or organization for an appealing, appropriate and eye catching facade renovation or creative window dressing or for providing a welcoming gathering place.
The Shining Star Award
This award recognizes a person, business or organization, which has left you with a positive impression. Does a favorite business keep convenient hours? Remember your name? Provide great customer service? Is there a business owner who “gets it” and supports his/her community? Does the business or organization cooperate with various community events? Do you find yourself recommending this business time and time again? Is there an organization that consistently supports or provides services to the Ardmore community?

Hard copy forms can be emailed to Christine@ardmoreinitiative.org, faxed to 610-645-0662, or mailed to the Ardmore Initiative at 56 E. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, PA 19003.
