- William H. Henderson, formerly of Wynnewood, dies at 86. Henderson was a former assistant principal in the Lower Merion School District.
- James C. Knight Jr., formerly of Ardmore, dies at 81. Services are being held Thursday and Friday.
- J. Margaret Ada Mutch, formerly of Rosemont Presbyterian Village, dies at 106. Mutch was a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps.
- Catherine Ogden, formerly of Bryn Mawr, dies at 83.
- Edward J. Foley, formerly of Rosemont, dies at 75.
- James W. Kane Jr., formerly of Byrn Mawr, dies at 85.
- Joan E. Ianieri, formerly of Bryn Mawr, dies at 73.
- Dr. John J. Murphy, formerly of Bryn Mawr, dies at 91. Murphy was Chief of Urology at the University of Pennsylvania hospital.
- Edward W. Deiss Jr, formerly of Bywn Mawr, dies at 69.
- James Brown, formerly of Narberth, dies at 42. Brown is the namesake for the annual “Jimmy Brown Alumni Classic” at Lower Merion High School.
- Wayne L. Worrell, formerly of Penn Valley, dies at 74. Worell was a Dean of Graduate Education at the University of Pennsylvania.
- Nancy B. McGarry, formerly of Narberth, dies at 92.
